About

Jamie Ross is the human behind Got Your Backings, and he is filled with immediate regret that he started writing this in the third person.

I’m a professional Actor Musician, moonlighting as a Musical Director and Arranger. As a performer I have worked on the UK Tour of Footloose: The Musical, the world premiere of Mythic: A New Musical at the Charing Cross Theatre, and the acclaimed revival of The Secret Garden at the Barn Theatre.

I was nominated for an Offie for my work as Musical Director on Miracle on 34th Street at the Bridge House Theatre and I have worked as an Arranger for Stage Coach and the MAD Trust.

After years of being the go to guy any time a friend needed help with a piece of music for an audition, I decided to open up my services to a wider audience, I’m friendly and approachable, so feel free to get in touch or confront me in the street regarding your needs!
